The Beatles Story
White Feather: The Spirit of Lennon is housed at the Beatles Story Pier Head within the new £10.5million Mersey Ferries terminal building on Liverpool’s globally renowned waterfront.
The exhibition has been extended due to popular demand, and is open until 31st December 2010. The Beatles Story Albert Dock and Pier Head are open seven days a week, all year round (excluding 25th/26th December). Opening hours are 9am - 7pm. The last admission is at 5pm.
Admission to the Beatles Story is £12.95 Adults, £8.50 Concessions, £6.50 Child, Free under 5's. Admission to special exhibitions is included in the Beatles Story ticket price.
Alternatively admission to the White Feather: The Spirit of Lennon exhibition only is £8 Adults, £6 Concessions. Tickets can be purchased on arrival at the Beatles Story. Groups must book in advance.
Getting Here
The Beatles Story special exhibition space is located at the Pier Head. The Beatles Story Pier Head is located in front of the Liver Building.
ON FOOT From Liverpool city centre, follow the signs for the Liver Building. Beatles Story Pier Head is located in front of the Liver Building.
MERSEYRAIL The nearest train stations to the Beatles Story Pier Head are James Street Station, approx 5 minutes walk (Wirral line) and Moorfields
Train Station (Northern Line) approx 10 minutes walk.
MAINLINE RAIL From the South: Virgin Trains operate direct services on an hourly basis to Liverpool Lime Street from London (approx 2 hour duration). The Beatles Story Pier Head is a 15-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station or a short taxi ride.
FROM THE NORTH There are regular services to Liverpool Lime Street from Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
BY AIR Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 30 minutes by car or taxi.
Arriva Airlink 500 bus service that operates a circular route from the Airport to Liverpool city centre. This operated every 30 minutes, Monday to Sunday at 15 and 45 minutespast each hour between 06:45 - 23:45.
PARKING Ample parking is available at Liverpool ONE, which is the closest secure cark park near to Beatles Story Pier Head. Further parking is available at ACC Liverpool’s car park on Kings Dock, adjacent to the Beatles Story Albert Dock.
